A Little About Me...

First of all, thanks for taking the time to visit my web site and having a look around!  There are millions of web pages out there, so I consider myself lucky that you’ve stopped by, even if it is just for a few seconds.

I’m not a professional photographer (although that would be nice!), I simply enjoy photography as a hobby, and looking at the end results.  Maybe, just maybe you like some of the end results too...  All my research, picture-taking and post processing - a great term for “tweaking” - takes place in my spare time.  A full-time job takes care of most of my day!

Like most people, I have often wondered what an area looked like in years gone by.  Quite often there are landmarks that make orientation / identification easy, sometimes things are changed beyond all recognition.  As well as capturing the memories and images from today, I’m always on the lookout for those little snippets of times past.  More likely than not, these ‘snippets’ will be older than me, but remain vivid in the mind of another person who remembers being there, or has a story to tell.

This is my opportunity to pass on, or rekindle those memories...
