The Engines

Literally in the middle of the decay and ruin surrounding them, stand the Ryde’s steam engines.  Silent for many years now, but the paint’s still there, and the detailing remains present.

Access to the engines is hampered by the metal walkways which crumble beneath your feet..

Hard to believe they’re still like this after all this time...

...but not everything fares so well.

Engine controls.  It’s fair to assume that they won’t be used again.

Soon, only the memories will remain.
