Interior of “Ryde Queen”
Looking around what’s left of the Ryde Queen’s interiors, it’s easy to spot the multiple layers of peeling paint, rotten wood, and water damage that have accumulated over the years. Fixtures such as railings and portholes have been removed, lifejackets are scattered on the floor, numerous panes of glass are broken, and pieces of metal walkways fall into the cold water below as you pass over them...
Maybe you sailed on her, or remembered her in happier times. Take a final look on board her, before she’s gone - forever.

The bar - located starboard side aft.

Looking back towards the bar - it’s not possible to walk any further forward on this side as the superstructure has collapsed , completely blocking the passageway

Looking forward on the port side. Note the lifejackets heaped on the left.

Continue through the passageway...

...through the wonky doors, and into...

...the forward lounge. Just off to the right is a tangled mass of wood and metal where part of the superstructure and funnel have collapsed.

Discarded lifejackets, still bearing “MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT” stencilled text.

An abandoned chair next to a door leading to the outside deck.

Rust-streaked ventilation fan... ...seized solid.
Continue the tour to look at the engines....
I’ve seen enough thanks - please take me back to the previous page!
