Wootton

Looking across Wootton Bridge and towards Newport in far quieter times.  Naturally there’s more traffic on the road nowadays, but it’s an immediately recognisable scene.  Looking closer, there’s a sign for the Sloop Inn is just visible.

Looking across Wootton Bridge and towards Ryde this time.  Again, the roads are quiet with a lone Vauxhall Wyrell or Wyvern making its way down the road.  The Lakeside Inn is advertising its restaurant, swimming pool and fully licensed bar. 

Looking across the Old Mill Pond towards East Quay, this shot shows the area that is now occupied by the waterside properties.
